Artist Statement

My work takes elements from maps, architectural plans and technical illustrations and turns them on their head. I take images designed to give information and break them up and layer them with other irrelevant and unconnected symbols so that they become redundant and useless yet at the same time mysterious and intriguing. From order comes chaos.
